The Heijmans ONE: a stylish, wooden, rental prefab house for young professionals
With housing being a crucial challenge in most urban areas, that is, most of the world where humans live with the current 70% urbanisation rate, new concepts for fast building accommodations are needed. This is one of the most serious contestants I have seen so far: an easily transportable and modular unit, which narrow facade allows for a reduction in street footprint whilst still leaving enough living space for a couple of young professionals, and possibly a kid.
