- Hire people passionate about the product (they are more likely to go the extra mile and find new solutions)
- Hire remote talent (the best people aren’t always next door)
- Hire figure-shit-out (FSO) people (it’s more about attitude and reasoning capacity than the knowledge you currently have)
- Make everyone do customer support at first (no better way to know everything about the product)
